Meow-Mug.
Mug: An English-made, bone china mug. Thin walls, with a large, elegant handle and nicely fluted lip. This is a good drinker, if a little dainty for me (even at the 12 ounces that it holds). Linden usually drinks from this mug on her day off, or from it's companion mug.
Contents: Celestial Seasoning's Sugar Plum Spice Holiday Herb Tea. Hibiscus, barley, chicory, rosehips, plum, cinnamon, ginger, and carob. Good stuff on a cold night.
Note: We love cats, and are suckers for well done cat motif items, even Hello Kitty stuff. In moderation, of course.

Old cup, new coffee. O happy day.
Mug: You've seen it before. Happy mug.
Coffee: Congo Kivu Peaberry, in a full city roast I did in my popcorn air-popper. Different. Good. Winey, perhaps? Happy cup.

The Kettle
Mug: Another old Starbucks mug, this time an early attempt at a stainless steel insulated mug. As with the earlier ceramic mug of the same design I showed earlier, this is a "pre-cupholder" design meant to sit on the dashboard. It has a "non-slip" bottom but unless you drive a VW new beetle, it's pretty worthless as a car mug.
It retains heat very well. The tactile experience at lips and fingers is OK, but not great. It looks like a pot-still, and that's why I like it.
Coffee: Colombian from Central Market, a.k.a. "The base". I'm alternating the home-roasted sampler-pack of beans from Sweet Maria's with the CM Colombian beans to keep a standard.
